A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.

Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person. Find out how health coaching stacks up against other health and wellness jobs.

MY YOGA TRAINING

I studied with Holy Yoga where I learned various methods to help make yoga accessible for everyBODY.  I have completed over 1200 hours of yoga training through Holy Yoga since 2015.  I am a Holy Yoga Licensed Instructor Trainer and lead Life Groups and offer Soul Care to other Holy Yoga instructors. I truly have a family in the Holy Yoga community!

my Holy Yoga Certifications:

  • Yoga Instructor (225 hr)
  • Holy Yoga Therapy (300 hr)
  • Yoga with Weights (15 hr)
  • Chair (20 hr)
  • Adaptive (50 hr)
  • Yoga Touch (15 hr)
  • Leadership (40 hr)
  • Master Instructor (300 hr)
  • YA Instructor (200 hr)
  • Licensed Instructor Trainer

I have been a yogi for more than 20 years, but prior to 2015, I had never considered teaching yoga.  When my husband, Lew, and I were discussing what we want to be when we “grow up,” and he told me he thought I should teach yoga, I thought he was insane.  He explained that he saw how much joy it brought me so I should share that joy with others.  I researched schools, but God stepped in and introduced training called Holy Yoga.  What?  It was Christ centered AND offered high quality training equivalent to any other.  It even included Bible study as part of the requirements.  I couldn’t believe how awesome that sounded.  Needless to say, Holy Yoga is a huge part of my life now.

I am the "poster child" for props and modifications.  My goal is to make students feel at ease with their bodies.
